While looking for help make sure that you specify all the required information about your problem in order to get a valid and efficient reply from the community. Here is an example of how the thread should look:

  • Describe your problem in detail, tell us which profile/class you are using. ALWAYS include a log file concerning your problem.
Your log file will be located in the installation directory of your bot, example:
D:\Program Files\GPbot v0.991 Public\Logs

Here is an example of how should your posted log look like:

You can do so by going to Advanced mode posting a thread and clicking the "Wrap [CODE] tags around selected text". After you do that simply copy the END of your log. I said the end since you probably won't be able to copy your entire log if it's too long, nor is it needed anyway. So copy the part of the text starting from the last line of your log towards it's start.

  • There are some cases when your PC configuration might be the issue as well. Speaking of CPU usage, memory crashes and whatnot. In that case you should show your system configuration in order for Guiz to look into it and resolve some possible incompatibilities with the bot and different types of hardware. To do this the most efficient way would be as follows:
For Windos XP users:
*
Go to Start -> Run -> in the dialog box type: dxdiag

For Windows Vista users:
* Blue orb -> Search box -> dxdiag -> Enter

If necessary, it will ask for an update for WHQL, let it finish. Once done it will show your configuration specs under the "System" tab. You will notice the "Save all Information..." button at the bottom, click it and select the destination on your HDD. Then do the same as you did with your log, just in this case don't post your entire DxDiag, but only the "System Information" part of it. Here is an example how it should look:

Code:
Time of this report: 6/7/2010, 19:36:18
Machine name: DANIJEL-0
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: NVIDIA
System Model: AWRDACPI
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Sempron(tm) 2500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.7GHz
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Page File: 682MB used, 1778MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode

Hope this will help and prevent further posting of unspecified threads in the Support section.
